Rachel Roy, Derek Blasberg Attend 'The Price Of Free' Screening
The Sundance winning documentary 'The Price Of Free' screened last night at MoMA in NYC, with special hosts Derek Blasberg and Rachel Roy!

Rachel Roy and Derek Blasberg hosted a special screening of the 'The Price of Free' at the Museum of Modern Art last night, Nov. 1, 2018. The documentary tells the story of Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Kailash Satyarthi's fight against child labor in India.
The film premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, where it won the U.S. Documentary Grand Jury Prize. It will air on YouTube Originals on November 27th.

Fashion designer Rachel Roy arrives. She saw the documentary a few months ago was so intrigued that she decided to help to organize the screening tonight and spread the message to her network of fashion insiders.

Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Kailash Satyarthi and director of the film Derek Doneen.
When asked how he got involved in the project: "As soon as I started researching his [Kailash Satyarthi] story, I knew that this is something I wanted to be part of and help continue that conversation."

During the Q&A Kailash says: "Everybody should realize that no problem on the earth would be seen and solved in isolation. We are an interconnected world. And that interconnectivity gives us so much more responsibility to take care of our children because they are all our children."
And he goes on: "As consumers, one can demand that products are not made by child slaves and child labour, and as responsible citizens one can demand to the government send letters to congressmen that they should be the partner in solving the problem in the world."
