Rapper Pop Smoke Busted For Driving Stolen Rolls Across US: Feds
The Brooklyn-born artist was arrested Friday for taking a Rolls-Royce that wasn't his on a cross-country road trip, court records show.

NEW YORK CITY — Feds busted up-and-coming rap star Pop Smoke for driving a stolen $300,000 Rolls-Royce from California to New York City, prosecutors said.
Bashar "Pop Smoke" Jackson was arrested Friday for allegedly jumping into a 2019 Rolls Royce Wraith and driving across the country sometime between Nov. 5 and Dec. 3, court records show.
The artist will face charges of interstate transport of a stolen vehicle in Brooklyn Federal Court, prosecutors said.

Pop Smoke borrowed the car for an upcoming music video but failed to return it the next day as promised, a law enforcement source told Patch.
The owner eventually reported it stolen, the source said.

The car next appeared in social media post of Pop Smoke's which was tagged to New York City and, on Friday, Pop Smoke was arrested at John F. Kennedy Airport after returning from France, the source said.
The Brooklyn-born rapper, best known for his collaboration on “GATTI” with Travis Scott, dropped a new single Thursday that features him driving through New York City.
He's in a white BMW, not a Rolls-Royce.
