RHONY At NYFW 2018: Photos From Front Row At Pamella Roland Show

Daniela's Lens takes you front row to the Pamella Roland show where the cast of RHONY were having a blast filming their upcoming season!

The Real Housewives of New York City made a special appearance today at Pamella Roland's Runway Show during fashion week. The evening wear designer is known to be a friend of RHONY and has been on the Bravo show before. RHONY used today's event to film for the next season.

This star-studded runway show also attracted Nicky and Tessa Hilton, Ashley Park and more. Take a look through Daniela's Lens below to see all of the best moments and fashion trends that you won't want to miss!

3:00 p.m.
What I love most about photographing events and especially fashion week is that you never know what is going to happen. Who will show up?

3:02 p.m.
My next show is Pamella Roland at Pier 59. I enter through the backstage entrance and take a quick look around. There is a backdrop set up and actress Ashley Park is ready for some photos. Beautiful dress!
Pamella is giving interviews. I don't see any other celebrities yet.

3:18 p.m.
I walk into the showroom and up to the pit where the riser photographers are setting up. I know most of them and wave hello. There are usually four types of photographers at a show. Riser photographers take photos of the models walking down the runway. Backstage access is for capturing the first looks, models getting ready and makeup and hair. Then there are the street guys. They shoot street style outside the venue.
I am a front row photographer or front of house 'FOH'. I take photos of the celebrities sitting in the front row before and during the show.

3:19 p.m.
I see M. walking up and down the aisle. She does front-of-house, too. "Who is here?" she asks.
"Ashley Park, she is the only one so far," I say. It's the calm before the storm.

3:21 p.m.
Then I see Tinsley Mortimer. Now it's getting interesting. She is on RHONY and also a well-known socialite in the city.

That's done. I do another round. And another one. A certain restlessness is a must-have skill for this job. "All event photographers are a little nuts" told me a veteran of the trade once. "You can't stand still. You need to be 'on'. Eyes and ears everywhere. You can't miss the moment when something happens. This is not a job for the dreamy type."

3:25 p.m.
Ramona Singer and Dorinda Medley are here! I get them walking in.
"Good to see you!" Ramona says to me.

3:28 p.m.
Three RHONY's make a great picture!
And a moment later everything turns into a crazy mess when three TV teams show up out of nowhere. They are actually filming a RHONY episode today!

3:29 p.m.
I turn around, and the next thing I see are the Hiltons. Now we are talking.

3:30 p.m.
The photographers and TV crews turn back and forth between RHONY and Hiltons and RHONY again, and more Hiltons and back to RHONY. RHONY and Hiltons in one photo that would be even better but something tells me that's never going to happen.

3:33 p.m.
Before it's time to clear the runway, I take a photo of TK Wonder. I love your hair!

3:34 p.m.
Hi J. Alexander and Nigel Barker!

3:36 p.m.
And there's Danielle Bernstein of We Wore What. Love the look!


3:38 p.m.
And then it's four RHONY's! Sonya Morgan is here. I try to get a photo of all four of them looking into my camera which is almost impossible to do when all the other photogs have the same goal.

3:39 p.m.
Everybody sits down. The show is about to begin. M and I hunker down on the floor between the rows with a good view. On the left is RHONY, on the right Hiltons. Perfect.
At this point, the both of us are drenched in sweat. This job is way more physical then it looks like. I take a deep breath. Sitting down feels good.

3:40 p.m.
Danielle Bernstein and Tina Leung are front row, too, of course.

3:42 p.m.
Ashley Park, Danielle Bernstein and Tina Leung watch the show.

3:44 p.m.
RHONY is fun to watch. All four of them are very animated today.

3:47 p.m.
A quick look over to the Hiltons. It's a little slow over there. Back to RHONY.

3:49 p.m.
Better.

3:50 p.m.
A lot better.

3:51 p.m.
I keep shooting, everything RHONY does is exciting and entertaining for some reason.

3:52 p.m.
And then it's already over.
