Schumer, Gillibrand Tell Cuomo To Quit Amid Sex Harass Scandal
The New York senators put out a joint statement Friday evening.

NEW YORK CITY – Senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand told New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to resign Friday, saying he had "lost the confidence" needed to lead.
“Confronting and overcoming the COVID crisis requires sure and steady leadership," the two said in a joint statement.
"We commend the brave actions of the individuals who have come forward with serious allegations of abuse and misconduct. Due to the multiple, credible sexual harassment and misconduct allegations, it is clear that Governor Cuomo has lost the confidence of his governing partners and the people of New York.
