'Suspicious Package' At Yankee Stadium Turns Out To Be Cooler With Beer Cans Inside
The NYPD bomb squad rushed to the Yankee Stadium subway station on Tuesday evening to investigate reports of a suspicious package.

THE BRONX, NY — A concerned citizen called 911 from the Yankee Stadium subway station at 161st Street just after 7 p.m. Tuesday, right as the night's New York Yankees game was getting underway, to report a suspicious package near the station entrance, according to police.
So the NYPD, on high alert after an apparent terrorist bombing killed at least 22 people at an Ariana Grande concert in England the evening prior, sent in a bomb squad to inspect and neutralize the potential threat.
It didn't take long, though, for members of the bomb squad to realize they were peering down the barrel of a common beer cooler.
