Take a Virtual Tour of New York City's Iconic Christmas Windows

Witness Manhattan's magical holiday window displays without getting off the couch.

People fly from all over the world to see how New York City celebrates Christmas. If you've strolled down Fifth Avenue during the holiday season, we don't need to preach to the choir. But if you haven't seen how it sparkles, here's you're chance to find out what all the fuss is about — without having to buy a plane ticket.

This month, Google Shopping unveiled "Window Wonderland," a virtual tour of Manhattan's most famous holiday window displays. Christmas lovers from all over the country can digitally stroll past 18 iconic storefronts decked out with festive high-fashion displays, a tradition that's been going on nearly 150 years.

The tour includes Macy's, Tiffany & Co., Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, Michael Kors and more. You can view the featured stores one after another, or click your favorite wintry themes to get up close and personal. Google even offers up a link to the different brands you'll pass.
