A Taste Of NYC Restaurant Week: See Some Of The Deals On Offer

These NYC eateries all have something special cooked up for restaurant week.

NEW YORK, NY — NYC Restaurant week is just around the corner. With nearly 400 eateries signed up to participate this summer, you may find it hard to choose the spots that are sure to make your stomach sing — but Patch has you covered. Check out our list of lunch and dinner specials these restaurants have created just for you.

Restaurant participants will offer two-course lunches for $26 and three-course dinners for $42 from Monday to Friday, with some continuing on Sunday. Certain eateries may offer the promotion for lunch or dinner only, so be sure to call or check the NYC Restaurant week website before making a reservation.

What’s the deal?
In honor of NYC restaurant week, this group-friendly Greek restaurant is rolling out the red carpet for city diners with never-before-seen cuisine.

Here’s a look at the newly-released menu:

  • Grilled Watermelon Salad: grilled Manouri cheese, watermelon radish, mixed greens and strawberry vinaigrette
  • Octopus Carpaccio: thinly sliced octopus, mint basil pesto, capers and mesclun salad
  • Gemista: stuffed vegetables, Arborio rice, pine nuts and dried cherries
  • Grilled Salmon: frisée and ladolemono

Armani Restaurant


Neighborhood: Fifth Avenue at East 56th Street

Where: Midtown East

What’s the deal?
We’re offering a sneak peek at the exclusive restaurant menu at the flagship location of this upscale Italian eatery. If you’re looking for elegant, yet delicious dining, this spot may fulfill all your food fantasies.

Here’s an inside look at Armani’s restaurant week menu:

  • Burrata (dinner) - Apulian burrata buffalo milk cheese with smoked eggplant caponata
  • Maiale (dinner) - Pork tenderloin with green apple jam and grilled gem lettuce
  • Pancake (brunch) - Whole wheat pancake, whipped lemon ricotta and red fruits
  • Tagliolino (brunch) - Homemade pasta with cheese, pepper and green pea puree

Neighborhood: Upper East Side
Where: East 60th Street between Madison and Park avenues

What’s the deal?
This highly-rated restaurant serves up Beijing-inspired cuisine family style and is a favorite of celebrities of all kinds. For restaurant week, this Chinese eatery had created its very own lunch and dinner special for asian food lovers across New York.

Here’s a look at what’s being offered for lunch:

  • Chicken Satay: Wok-seared Branzino served with eggplant and sweet and spicy sauce
  • Crispy Beef with a sweet orange and carrot sauce
  • Round out your meal with the choice of ice cream or a warmed-up brownie topped with coconut sorbet, whipped cream and strawberries.

  • Vegetable lo mein made with hand pulled noodles
  • Dumpling sampler with hand rolled and steamed shrimp, chicken and vegetable dumplings
  • Slow-roasted pork butt coated with a honey barbeque sauce and paired with sugar snap peas
  • End on a sweet note with a coconut mousse with a black sesame cake topped with strawberry rhubarb compote and lemon curd.

Neighborhood: Williamsburg

Where: 111 N. 12th St.


What's the deal?

House-made pastas, wood-fired pizzas and other southern Italian delicacies served up in a cool Williamsburg spot. The food is the creation of Chef Andrew Carmellini.

Where: 23-92 21st St.


What's the deal?

A steakhouse that opened up a Queens spot after 25 years in Manhattan. Renowned for its prime cuts aged to perfection.
