Thunderstorm, Hail And Strong Winds About To Hit NYC
A special weather statement has been issued.

NEW YORK CITY – A thunderstorm bringing torrential rain and pea-sized hail is approaching New York City, the National Weather Service said.
An alert was issued at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday when the storm was over Fort Lee in New Jersey and headed towards the city north of Midtown.
The storm could also bring 40 mph winds, localized flooding and frequent cloud to ground lightning.
