VIDEO: BMW Battered By Cyclists In Daylight 5th Ave Attack

FLATIRON, NY – A gang of cyclists ambushed a luxury car in broad daylight on Fifth Avenue, punching windows and hurling a bike in the windshield as the vehicle's occupant sat inside.

Video released by police even shows the attackers launching themselves onto the hood of the BMW.

Cops said the attack happened while the driver, 36, was sat at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and East 21st Street at 4:05 p.m. Tuesday.

The video shows about a dozen cyclists involved in the attack. It's not known why they started to hit the car. They fled on the bikes and had not been found as of Wednesday evening, police said.
