The problems were numerous at the polling places in New York City on Tuesday morning, though long lines were the biggest complaint.

NEW YORK, NY — New Yorkers woke up to long lines at polling places on Tuesday, some queueing up well before the polls even opened at 6 a.m. But that was to be expected as one of the most contentious and polarizing races in modern presidential politics comes to a close.
Long lines are hardly a new phenomenon in a city of 8.5 million people, though that didn't prevent the masses from taking to social media to complain.

Broken scanners were par for the course across the city as well. Most places had at least one scanner working. P.S. 154 in Harlem, for instance, had only one of four scanners working before the broken ones were fixed at about 10:30 a.m.

The problems at Trump's voting place, P.S. 59 in Midtown, had more to do with protesters. A pair of topless women, painted with anti-Trump messages, were taken out of the polling place by police around 9 a.m.
