Walk-Up Vaccines Expanded To New Yorkers 50 And Older
Starting Saturday, any New Yorker age 50 and older can receive a coronavirus vaccine without an appointment.

NEW YORK, NY — New Yorkers age 50 and older are now among those eligible to get the coronavirus vaccine without an appointment, Mayor Bill de Blasio's office announced Saturday.
Previously, walk-in appointments were reserved for New Yorkers age 75 and older.
“Our priority for the next few months is clear: we need to vaccinate as many New Yorkers as possible,” de Blasio said in a news release. “By making it easier for New Yorkers 50 and older to get vaccinated, we are on our way to fully vaccinating five million New Yorkers by June.”
