American Theater Dance Workshop has MOVED to Mineola

After 35 years, the American Theater Dance Workshop has a Brand New Look. ATDW has completed their move into a Brand New, State of the Art, 6600 square foot Performing Arts Facility in Mineola, NY. Artistic Directors - Michelle and Jerome Vivona purchased the existing studio in New Hyde Park in 2013 and have outgrown the confines of the current space. The new building boasts 3 newly constructed dance studios with professionally sprung dance floors designed to limit fatigue and injuries for all dancers. A fourth studio has been designed specifically for private and small group vocal, music and acting instruction and may also be used for self-taping of College Musical Theater and Acting audition reels. The Studio opened on July 2nd and featured a three week Summer Dance Intensive followed immediately by ATDW Studio Theater productions of Heathers, the Musical and 13, the Musical. Multiple bathrooms and spacious dressing rooms have been added for the dancers convenience. Each studio is outfitted with a piano and professional sound system to provide the best possible environment for dance instruction, featuring live music in most classes. Each class is taught by experienced, professional instructors with Master Classes being taught by NYC and Broadway professionals on a weekly basis beginning September 10th. Adult classes in Ballet, Tap and Musical Theater are offered year-round. the studio now also offers Birthday Parties, Special Events and Workshops as well as children's theater and story ballets and will be open 7 days a week.
