
Najiba Keshwani of New Hyde Park was recently honored at Union College’s annual Prize Day celebration.
Keshwani was given the Calvin G. Schmidt (1951) Prize, awarded to the member of the junior class who has contributed most to the betterment of student life on campus.
Union College, founded in 1795 as the first college chartered by the New York State Board of Regents, offers programs in the liberal arts and engineering to 2,100 undergraduates of high academic promise and strong personal motivation.
