I would like a moment or two of your time to recognize one of the finest employees the Village Of New Hyde Park DPW has to offer. See I walk my morning laps around Memorial Park daily for exercise, fresh air and the hope that I'll one day run into Long Islands own, god of cycling Daniel Bailey. Well folks, yesterday was said day and Daniel couldn't have been any nicer or down to earth. He was kind enough to speak with me for 10 or so min. about biking, exercise and the love he has for his job and as a result, I walked away from our conversation with even more of an appreciation for the man himself. Daniel seemed to have taken more of an interest in me than I had in him and that trait alone spoke volumes. Thank you all Village employees for maintaining such a beautiful place to walk and go about my business. Thank you Daniel for allowing me to get a picture with you and an autograph. Bravo Hew Hyde Park. Bravo Daniel.
