Denton Students Measure Who Can Jump the Furthest
Herricks second graders participate in contest on measurement unit.
Leaping into their unit on measurement, Mrs. Mitarotonda’s second grade class at the Denton Avenue School in the Herricks School District recently participated in a friendly competition to find out who could jump the greatest distance.
Students practiced using measurement tools to measure the distance to the closest unit.
