Gloria Barber of New Hyde Park, passed away peacefully on Nov. 4, 2013 at the age of 84. She was born on Aug. 2, 1929.
She was the beloved wife of the late Charles; loving mother of Charles, Joseph and Debra Virzera; cherished grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 6.
A wake will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 6 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at R. Stutzmann & Son 2000 Hillside Ave., New Hyde Park. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 10:15 a.m. at Notre Dame RC Church. Interment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Lymphatic Education & Research Network.
