Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued For Long Island
Use caution if you are out on the roads this morning.

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook and a dense fog advisory for Long Island.
The fog advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. Friday.
Limited visibilities, of a quarter-mile or less at times, will make travel very difficult, the NWS says.

If driving, slow down, use your fog lamps or low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you in case a sudden stop is needed.
Dense Fog Advisory in effect until 10am for much of the area with visibilities 1/4 mile or less. Elsewhere, fog will reduce visibilities to one mile or less at times.
