Herricks Middle School Students Receive History Awards

A total of 17 students took part in the regional level of the National History Day competition.

This year 17 students from Herricks Middle School took part in the regional level of the National History Day competition at Hofstra University on Sunday, March 10.

Students in grades 6-8 competed either as individuals or groups with nine entries.

Students presented their projects during a full day of judging and the following students received awards for their outstanding work: Rachel J. Kim, Alexandra Gootman and Ria Hedge.
