Honors for New Hyde Park Students

Eleven students from New Hyde Park Memorial High School, part of the Sewanhaka Central High School District, were named local finalists in the 2014-15 NYS PTA Reflections Art Program.

Congratulations to Megha Gopal, Christina Panouis, Chesca Turingan and Jenna Weihs (literature); Hyo Kyung Choi, Farah Hasan, Joseph Vitiello and Mahima Varghese (visual arts); Diya Shroff and Maryam Quereshi (photography) and Preeti Presannan (film).

In addition, Presannan, Varghese and Choi have moved on to the next level of judging at Nassau Region.
