Indian Grocery Store Holds Grand Opening In New Hyde Park

The store includes a halal meat shop and an Indian sweets and snacks shop.

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held earlier this month for the grand opening of an Indian supermarket in New Hyde Park.

Apna Bazar is located at 2046 Lakeville Road. It carries high quality and low-priced produce as well as Indian, South Asian and Persian groceries. The store includes a halal meat shop and an Indian sweets and snacks shop.

The ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Friday, Aug. 17. In attendance were elected officials, members of the Greater New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce; and friends, family and owners of Apna Bazar.
