Jovia FCU Gives to $30K Donation for Cohen's Children's Medical
Jovia FCU made a contribution toward a $30,000 donation to New Hyde Park-based Cohen's Children Medical Center Pediatric Diabetes Program.

New Hyde Park, NY; June 29, 2021– Jovia Financial Credit Union, Long Island’s leading credit union and long-standing member of the New York Credit Union Association Long Island Chapter, recently took part in making a $30,000 donation to Cohen Children’s Medical Center Pediatric Diabetes Program, headquartered in New Hyde Park, NY.
For the past 28 years, Long Island Credit Unions have organized a charity golf outing to raise money for non-profits in Nassau and Suffolk counties. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 29th Annual Long Island Credit Unions Golf Outing was canceled last year.
The spirit and determination of raising funds and awareness for non-profits lived on as Jovia Financial Credit Union and fellow Association members continued efforts to generate donations and funding from supporters and golf event sponsors, fulfilling the promise to support the Northwell Health program.

Our collaborative nature instantly took over and we continued on with our mission to raise money for an incredible healthcare institution and hospital,” commented Eric Oterson, Senior Vice President, Service and Sales Management for Jovia Financial Credit Union.
