New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce Gives Scholarship Awards

The New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce recently distributed scholarship awards to high 

Academy of Finance, New Hyde Park Memorial High School

On Wednesday June 18, the Academy of Finance had their graduation dinner at The Inn at New Hyde Park. The New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce presented scholarship awards of $500 each to Abie Varghese, Valedictorian and Samantha Longo, student council president. Both students excelled in the Academy of Finance program and were involved in many school activities and programs. They also volunteered their time in community organizations.

Herricks High School Senior Awards Assembly 

On Friday June 13, Peter Caputo, past president and member of the New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce Benevolence Committee, presented a scholarship award of $500 for Business Studies to Nicholas Longman at the Senior Awards Assembly.

Great Neck South High School

On Friday June 13, Richard DeMartino and Cheryl Fajardo from the New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce Benevolence Committee, presented Cindy Ko, from Great Neck South High School with a $500 Scholarship award for Community Service.

Sewanhaka High School

Cheryl Fajardo, co-chair of the New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce Benevolence Fund, presented a scholarship award of $500 to Michael Mosie graduating senior at Sewanhaka High School. Michael excelled in his academic studies and was involved in community activities.
