Police Seek Information On Floral Park Auto Shop Burglary

FLORAL PARK, NY — Nassau County police reached out to the public yesterday for help in identifying the person or persons responsible for burglarizing an auto shop in Floral Park.

Detectives said the 70-year-old owner of Quality Care Auto, which is located at 387 Jericho Tpke., discovered that an unknown person or persons pried open a side door at about 1 p.m. on Friday. A window that housed an air conditioning unit, which was pushed in to access an interior office, was also damaged, police said. The thief or thieves made off empty-handed though, according to police. No further information was available from police.
