Target Eyes Former New Hyde Park Sears Location: Report
The North Hempstead zoning appeals board plans to hear the plans next month, according to the report.

NEW HYDE PARK, NY — A former Sears store in New Hyde Park may become a 78,000 square-foot Target store with a grocery section, pharmacy and Starbucks, according to a report. Plans submitted with the Town of North Hempstead show Target may take over two-thirds of the building in the Lake Success Shopping Center, Newsday reported.
The zoning appeals board plans to hear the plans Jan. 8, town spokeswoman Carole Trottere told the newspaper.
