Restaurant recommendations for those looking to eat outside this spring

With spring beginning soon, the temperature will be increasing, and everyone will want to be outside. Now is a great time to start planning how you can take advantage of the warm weather. Daytime is good for engaging in outdoor activities, but night time is good for hanging out and winding down at the end of the day. A great way to enjoy the warm weather at night is eating outside.

There are many amazing restaurants on Long Island that offer outdoor seating. Whether you’re looking for something more formal or more casual, there are many great options. These are some of my favorite spots for outdoor dining in Nassau County.

Plattduetsche Park Restaurant
Plattduetsche Park Restaurant is a German restaurant located in Franklin Square, New York. The restaurant is comprised of their main building restaurant and their Beer Hall at the Plattduetsche Biergarten. On the weekends, starting in the spring, Plattduetsche Park Restaurant opens their Biergarten (beer garden) for special events or even just for a nice dinner outside in the nice weather. It’s a great place to go with friends to get drinks, sample German craft beers and listen to live music while eating their signature giant pretzel imported from Munich, Germany. The Biergarten is located directly behind the main restaurant building and contains an abundance of picnic tables. The atmosphere is very fun and casual.
