Advocate Health Advisors Names Chris Demers Regional Manager

Advocate Health Advisors has named Chris Demers as regional manager for downstate New York. In his role, Demers will be responsible for recruiting insurance agents and working with established agents and agencies throughout the downstate New York region.

Demers, who is based on Long Island, also will work with national insurance carriers that offer Medicare Advantage plans.

“Chris will be a great asset to the Advocate Health team. I am excited to have him leading agent recruiting and helping them create revenue-producing activity,” Advocate Health Advisors National Business Director Jeff Crumbaugh said.

Prior to joining Advocate Health Advisors, Demers was manager of sales and brokers at AgeWell New York. He also has worked with Anthem / Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield, where he was one of the top insurance representatives in the country.

Demers holds an MBA and undergraduate degree from Baruch College.
