The New Rochelle Council on the Arts has been selected to participate in Lord & Taylor’s Shop Smart, Do Good Fundraising Day event at Eastchester on April 26th. NRCA will be selling savings passes for this event (providing 15% savings all day on almost anything –including cosmetics and fragrances – plus two 25% bonus coupons) for $5 throughout the month of April. Savings passes can be purchased directly from NRCA members or through Lord & Taylor online at www.lordandtaylor.com/dogoodeastchester. . “Just click on “Shop Smart Do Good” and then again on the Eastchester date to order tickets,” explains NRCA President Judith Weber. “And be sure to select “New Rochelle Council on the Arts” from the drop down window!”
The NRCA will receive all proceeds from the tickets it sells; in addition, the top three organizations with the highest tickets sales will receive an extra cash bonus. Participating organizations will also be part of a raffle, with the winner receiving an additional cash prize. “It’s really a great way to support arts in your community while enjoying great savings on items you really want,” says Theresa Kump Leghorn, Vice President of NRCA.
Each savings pass includes two coupons for 25% off on two items of your choice (some restrictions apply) plus your savings pass entitles you to 15% off regular and sale items all day including cosmetics and fragrances! “Shoppers can save even more — another 15% off all purchases — when they open a Lord & Taylor charge that day,” explains Leghorn. “And Lord & Taylor charge account holders receive an additional 10% off all purchases.”

In addition, she says, “if you hate crowds or can’t be there on the 26th your savings pass can be used between April 17th and 26th for merchandise picked up between April 26th and May 10th, and your account will not be charged until April 26th.”
“The more tickets we sell, the more money we raise, so we hope everyone will help us reach our fundraising goals!” For more information go to www.newrochellearts.org.
