Celebrate Valentine’s Day with Romance Writers Luncheon on February 14th
New Rochelle Public Library Foundation "Clutching Your Pearls" Luncheon will feature four award-winning romance novelists

Do you love a good romance novel? Grab your girlfriends and get ready to clutch those pearls as the New Rochelle Public Library Foundation presents a festive Valentine’s Day luncheon on Tuesday, February 14th from 12 to 3 pm featuring conversation with award-winning romance novelists K.M. Jackson, Sally MacKenzie and Maya Rodale, moderated by YA author Kristi Cook. The luscious three-course luncheon at “Best of Westchester” winner Alvin & Friends Restaurant includes a champagne toast, and copies of the authors’ most recent titles will be available for sale and signing thanks to The Voracious Reader. Tickets cost $75 per person with all proceeds supporting teen workshops and mentoring programs in the library’s new Digital Media Center. The New Rochelle Public Library Foundation is a volunteer fundraising and advocacy organization working to ensure the future well-being of the Library. The NRPL Foundation, created in 1993, supports Library initiatives that enhance opportunities for learning, exploration and public discourse. Among the Foundation’s recent contributions, it provided more than $106,000 to partially underwrite the cost of the remodel of the Ossie Davis Theater; along with new seating and exterior signage and entrance work, the upgrade includes assistive listening technology, greater accessibility and upgraded fire suppression, HVAC and other systems.
