The Art, Culture and Design of the Automobile: An All-Convertible Car Show is part of this year’s ArtsFest, September 28th through 29th . The car show will take place Saturday, September 28th only (rain date Sunday, September 29th) from 10 am to 5 pm in the Hamilton Avenue parking lot adjacent to City Hall and directly across the street from AJ’s Burgers. Convertibles from the years 1900 through 1976, preserved and presented by their owners, will demonstrate why they have become symbols of glamour and adventure. The show will also feature auto-inspired original photographs by Steven Garnett.
Organized by the New Rochelle Council on the Arts, ArtsFest highlights the variety of arts and arts venues in New Rochelle and Pelham, with exhibits, programs and family-friendly activities that spotlight the community’s rich cultural and artistic diversity. Again this year a free “Culture Trolley” will provide “hop on – hop off” transportation to the activities taking place in public and private cultural spaces.
