Meineck, who is Artistic Director of the Aquila Theater and Clinical Associate Professor of Classics at New York University, will lead an acting workshop at 5:30 pm and helm a staged reading and post-performance discussion of excerpts from classic Greek plays at 7 pm in the Linda Kelly Theater at New Rochelle High School. (Both events are free, but advance registration is requested for the acting workshop; call 914-576-6518 to reserve a space.)

The Museum of Arts & Culture is partnering with the New Rochelle Public Library to bring Ancient Greeks/Modern Lives to New Rochelle, with an ambitious calendar of programs that will include free public performances, workshops, a concert and lectures as well as an exhibit by the artist Marie Hines Cowan.
