Fewer Than 1K Customers Without Power: Con Ed
Tropical Storm Isaias continues to have an effect eight days after it tore through the Hudson Valley.

Tropical Storm Isaias continues to affect the lower Hudson Valley. The storm Aug. 4 left close to 500,000 customers out of power in the region.
In Westchester County, Con Edison reported 951 customers still out of power at 9 a.m., eight days after the hurricane tore through the region. There is no estimated time of restoration, and the utility only said "more work required" on its outage map. Most of the remaining customers are in Greenburgh, Harrison, New Rochelle and Yonkers.

Orange and Rockland Utilities reported 286 customers still out of service, most of them in Orange and Rockland counties.

Not related to Isaias, Central Hudson reported 1,005 customers out, most in Ulster County. Estimated restoration time is 10:30 a.m.
NYSEG reported no customers out in Dutchess, Putnam or Westchester counties.
