A coastal flood advisory remains in effect for parts of the Hudson Valley Tuesday. The National Weather Service said the advisory will be in effect until 2 p.m. Tuesday for southern Westchester County.
According to the weather service, there could be up to 1 foot of inundation above ground level in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways.
Brief minor flooding of the most vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline is possible, but there is a low threat of property damage.

There is also the potential for additional minor coastal flooding Wednesday and Thursday mornings to afternoons with the high tides.
