Earlier this year, New Rochelle partnered with R.F. Wilkins Consultants in the development of ConnectNR in an effort to provide authentic, equitable and effective engagement surrounding economic development in the city.
The goal of this initiative is to connect opportunities, needs, neighborhoods, economic development, communities and thought leaders. The CEP defines a comprehensive range of approaches to encourage community involvement, meet the needs of diverse populations and address the varying needs for community engagement at each stage of the process. Officials believe ConnectNR will become a platform for continuous community participation in city-wide development and key initiatives.
