New Indoor Sports Facility Planned for New Rochelle
Construction on A-Game Sports expected to start next month.

A-Game Sports, a new indoor sports facility on Main Street in New Rochelle, is expected to begin construction next month, reports The Journal News.
The 25,000-square-foot complex will be located in a currently vacant building and feature smaller-than-regulation turf fields for soccer, lacrosse and baseball/softball drills and instruction.
It also will feature a speed and strength conditioning area, and will be geared to young athletes primarily between the ages of 6 and 15.

An exact opening date has not yet been determined.
“In order for local athletes to compete with kids who grow up in warmer climates, they must have the ability to work on improving their game year round,” A-Game Sports partner Kevin Plein told The Journal News. The facility’s co-owner is Darin Feldman. “Having access to indoor space during the colder months is paramount to a young athlete’s development.”
