New Rochelle Contractor Arrested in Rockland
Contractor arrested in Rockland on felony charges for failure to complete work.

A contractor from New Rochelle has been charged with third-degree grand larceny, a felony, because of work he failed to finish in a house in Rockland County, according to the Journal News.
The Rockland County District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe’s office has accused Michael Scoca of failing to
complete work on a $26,000 kitchen-remodeling. Scoca demolished the kitchen in May 2015, but never completed the job and never returned any of the homeowner’s money.
Scoca is in the Rockland County Jail because of two earlier felonies and is to appear in court on Tuesday. He could face a seven-year prison sentence.
