New Rochelle To Hold Santa's Park Tour

The police department will be ushering Santa around, and holiday treats will be distributed by Santa's helpers.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Children in New Rochelle will be able to see Santa Claus as he tours parks around the city Saturday.

The Parks and Recreation Department teamed up with the New Rochelle Police Department to conduct Santa's Park Tour, which begins at 10 a.m. and runs into the afternoon.

Officials said the one-day tour will feature Santa on a fire engine visiting parks in the city, giving New Rochelle's children a chance to see and save at him.

  • 10 a.m.: Pinebrook playground, Pinebrook Boulevard and Tulip Lane
  • 10:30 a.m.: Huguenot Park, North Avenue, near Jack’s Friendship Garden
  • 11 a.m.: Lincoln Park, Remington Boy’s and Girl’s Club parking lot
  • 11:30 a.m.: Feeney Park, Seventh Street near Mascaro Boys & Girls Club
  • Noon: Flowers City Park, Fifth Avenue at Fosina Field Parking lot
  • 12:30 p.m.: Hudson Park, Hudson Park Road, rear parking lot

Parks department officials said new coronavirus protocols will be followed; masks are required.
