New Rochelle Holiday Tree Lighting Scheduled

The annual event is held at Memorial Plaza in the downtown area.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The City of New Rochelle's Holiday Lighting ceremony has been scheduled. It will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5.

The event will be at Memorial Plaza, which is at the corner of Main Street and Memorial Highway.

Described as a celebration of holiday traditions, there will be music, snacks and hot cocoa.

There will also be a special appearance by The Grinch and a photo opportunity with Santa Claus.

The New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce and the City of New Rochelle will be presenting the ceremony.
