New Year's Eve In Hudson Valley: Hour-By-Hour Forecast

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The ball is about to drop in Times Square, ringing in not only a new year, but a new decade. It's going to be a cold one Tuesday night, so Hudson Valley residents planning to watch fireworks and other festivities outside ought to bring a jacket.

While no rain or snow is expected throughout most of the region, temperatures will fall to the upper 30s around midnight, though it will feel more like the upper 20s with the wind. The night sky will also likely be partly cloudy.

Be warned that there is a chance of rain and mixed precipitation or snow Tuesday night after 9 a.m. for the most northern part of the mid-Hudson Valley.
