Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued For Hudson Valley
Meteorologists said a cold front will bring isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms to the region. BREAKING

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — In advance of an approaching cold front, the National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for much of the Hudson Valley. The watch, which was posted at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday, is in effect until 10 p.m.
Included in the watch are Columbia, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Ulster and Westchester counties.
Meteorologists said a cold front will bring isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon into the early evening.

Some storms could be strong to severe. Large hail cannot be ruled out, but damaging wind gusts will be more likely threat.
