Summer Sounds Concert Series at Hudson Park

Third Stone  – a group that always gets listeners up on

their feet  -- will  kick off the annual Emil Paolucci Summer Sounds Concert Series at Hudson Park on

Wednesday, July 9th  at 7:30

pm. Known for its powerful horn section, Third Stone is a cover band playing a

mix of blues, soul, classic rock and funk.

     The Summer Sounds concert

series, which features an eclectic menu of free music on eight consecutive

Wednesdays in July and August, is presented by the New Rochelle Council on the

Arts, in partnership with the New Rochelle Dept. of Parks and Recreation, and sponsored

by Webster Bank. Additional

support is being provided by Metro Med, which is helping to underwrite the

August 6th concert by New Rochelle Opera. For more information visit

the NRCA website at www.newrochellearts.org

or telephone the Dept. of Parks and Recreation at 654-2087.

     Bill Zimmerman, Commissioner of New

Rochelle’s Dept. of Parks & Recreation, says the city is proud to continue

the summer concert tradition. “The

support of Webster Bank has

made it possible for us to continue to bring free concerts to the community.”

Judith Weber, President of the New Rochelle Council on the Arts, adds “Webster

Bank continues to be a generous supporter of the arts with a true commitment to

the community they serve.”
