Time Is Running Out To Request Absentee Ballot In New Rochelle

Absentee ballot applications for the May 18 election must be dropped off by May 17. Ballots must be received by 5 p.m. on election day.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — With the ranks of fully vaccinated growing every day, in-person voting is expected to once again be the rule rather than the exception for the May 18 election in New Rochelle, but there is still time to apply for those who would prefer to vote by mail.

Registered voters who can’t or do not wish to vote in person can still request an absentee ballot. The application may be personally delivered to the District Clerk at 515 North Ave. on the second floor no later than May 17. It is likely too late to apply for an absentee ballot by mail. If mailed, the application must be received by May 11.

The application for an absentee ballot can also be found on the district website in both English and Spanish.
