Ultimate Disc League Team Moving To New Rochelle

The team was operating out of Randall's Island but wanted a location more accessible for fans.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Did you know New York has a professional Ultimate Disc League team? Well, the state does, and its 19-member New York Empire team will be moving out of Manhattan to New Rochelle.

The team was looking for a place more accessible for fans than its current Randall’s Island location and will set up shop at Joseph F. Fosina Field in New Rochelle, the Journal News said.

One of the majority owners of the team, Barbara Stevens, is a resident and business owner of New Rochelle.
