William 'Bill' Moye, Longtime New Rochelle Resident, Dies at 102
Moye was a veteran of World War II and was stationed in Algeria, Tunisia and Italy.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Lifelong New Rochelle resident and World War II veteran William “Bill” Moye died Tuesday at the age of 102. Moye was a presence around the city, speaking at schools and attending veterans-related functions. He served in the U.S. Army in Algeria, Tunisia and Italy during the war.
Moye received an honorary diploma at 100 from New Rochelle High School, lohud.com said.
He is survived by his sister, Jessie May Kelly, and nieces and nephews.
