Orangetown police allege the White Plains man also had drugs in the car.
NYACK, NY — A White Plains man who police allege was driving drunk without a license and with drugs in a car with a suspended registration, is due in Nyack village court Feb. 27 to face charges. Orangetown police said he was stopped initially for violation of the state's vehicle and traffic laws.
Rodney McCallop, 50, was stopped at 3:55 a.m. Friday on North Broadway. He failed standard field sobriety tests and refused to take a breath test, police said. He was arrested and taken to Orangetown Police Headquarters, where he refused to take a breathalyzer test.
Police said they found McCallop was driving though his privilege to operate a car in New York had been revoked. The registration of the car he was driving was suspended.
