IMAX Theatre at Palisades Center Gets Exclusive Rights to Show Mission Impossible 5 days Early AND the Exclusive Preview of The Dark Knight Rises

For those who love Tom Cruise and/or Batman, the IMAX Theatre at the Palisades Center should be at the top of your list for visiting during December!

The IMAX Theatre at Palisades Center received word that it will have an exclusive five-day early release of Tom Cruise's latest action thriller Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol starting midnight on December 15th! Tickets are already on sale at www.imax.com/palisades.

This movie is a must see on the enormous IMAX Palisades screen, the largest movie screen in the Rockland, Orange, Bergen, Westchester area. The movie features 30 minutes of sequences shot with IMAX cameras, which, ONLY in IMAX, will fill the screen top to bottom during these sections.  

In a recent interview with the LA Times announcing the IMAX advance opening, the film’s Academy Award®-winning director, Brad Bird, had this to say about IMAX:

 “To me, the best example of showmanship now is IMAX. I wanted the first people that see the film to see it big with a sharp image and great sound systems, so when they went out and talked about the movie they saw, we would know that they had seen it at its best.”

Before each run of Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol, IMAX Theatre at Palisades Center will have an exclusive showing the incredible extended movie prologue for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. Movie goers will only be able to see this spectacular six minute movie prologue at IMAX Palisades in West Nyack.
