Be Their Guest At 'Beauty and the Beast'

WEST NYACK, NY — Don't miss Disney's Beauty and the Beast at Clarkstown South High School this weekend. There are three performances to choose from.

WHEN: 8 p.m. Friday, 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday

WHERE: Clarkstown South High School auditorium, 31 Demarest Mill Road

WHAT: This modern musical became an instant classic. It's about a selfish prince who is cursed to live as a monster for the rest of his life. His only hope to break the spell is to learn to love a young woman, who is his prisoner, and to earn her love in return. With the help of his enchanted castle staff, the beast eventually does win the love of the young woman named Belle. However, the townspeople and a conceited hunter named Gaston are prepared to do anything to break them apart.
