WEST NYACK, NY — Clarkstown South's Centerstage has been working for the past two and a half months (both virtually and in person with masks) to put together a streamed version of Disney's television musical "Descendants."
It's based on the Disney Channel movie of 2015, the first of a trilogy and one of the most-watched original movies on cable television.

CSHS's small group of students (only 13 cast members and 6 crew members) began virtual work in in late winter learning their lines, songs and dances and deciding what props and artwork would work for the show, said Lisa Imperial, Centerstage's advisor/director.
"When the weather warmed up, they ventured outside to begin to prepare for filming their work. The cast and crew were excited to get back to what they loved and they embraced every moment of the process, masks and all," she said. "They have worked hard and were excited to 'wrap' their filming last Friday."
