Complicated Detours During Water Main Work

WEST NYACK, NY — SUEZ began working on the water main at the intersection of Strawtown Road and Demarest Avenue Thursday morning.

The intersection will be closed for about 40 hours and is scheduled to be done by 11 p.m. Saturday.

Detours are in place; however, all motorists should expect significant delays in the area, Clarkstown police said. Please seek alternate routes if possible.
