Deckade Raises over $12,000 for Nyack Skate Park

The Deckade fundraiser this past Saturday at the Nyack Fencing Academy raised a little over $12,000 for the Nyack Skate Park according to Sarah Anderson, chair of the skateboard committee.

Anderson said the event drew people from all over, including many from New York City. A big draw was the Bobshirt Collection of skateboard art from the 1990s. Read more about Deckade and efforts to build a skate park in Nyack's Memorial Park here.
