Donations in Memory of Diane Hoeneveld to West Nyack Library or Rotary Scholarship Fund

Diane M. Hoeneveld of West Nyack, NY, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Diane was born on March 17, 1932 in NYC and on January 26, 1955 she married the love of her life, Robert Hoeneveld. He predeceased her on Dec. 22, 2008.

Diane was a teacher for many years at the Strawtown Elementary School. She was very active as a Clarkstown District School Board Member, a member of the West Nyack Rotary Club (Past President) and the West Nyack Free Library (Past President). Diane was an avid shopper and loved to spoil her children and grandchildren.

Diane is survived by her loving children, Robert and his wife Kathleen and Diane Quinn and her husband Phil, her three cherished granddaughters, Lauren, Courtney and Caitlin. She is also survived by her sister, Catherine Caragliano and her beloved dog, Shelby. A brother, Hercules Pappas, predeceased her.
